Jay E. Carey
Jay Carey has been practicing law in Minnesota since 2000. He started his legal career as an associate for one of the largest law firms in Minnesota. He then went on to work for a prominent DWI defense lawyer who previously served as a district court judge. After gaining that valuable experience, Jay founded this firm in 2006, devoting nearly 100% of his practice to DWI and criminal defense. Since then, he has personally handled over 1,000 DWI cases and hundreds of other criminal offenses. Accordingly, Jay has extensive experience defending clients charged with DWI and other criminal offenses in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the greater Twin Cities area. He enjoys the many challenges the cases present and obtains great satisfaction helping people effectively resolve difficult circumstances.
